Accessibility

Last updated: July 4, 2026

Dott.House is designed following the digital accessibility principles of WCAG 2.1 level AA and the European standard EN 301 549, with specific care for color-blind users.

Measures in place

  • Color is never the only signal: charts, indicators and status badges pair color with text labels, icons or symbols, staying readable under deuteranopia, protanopia and tritanopia.
  • Contrast: text/background ratios follow WCAG 2.1 AA (4.5:1 normal text, 3:1 large text and UI components), managed centrally through semantic color tokens.
  • Keyboard navigation: every feature is reachable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link.
  • Continuous verification: every page of this site is automatically checked with accessibility tests (axe-core engine) integrated in the development pipeline.
  • Semantic structure: semantic HTML, correct heading hierarchy and alternative text for images.

Scope

This statement covers the public website dotthouse.ai. The Dott.House application follows the same design principles.
